Recycling a Novawall® System

NOVAWALL is intent on giving their clients as much information as possible in all aspects of using our products. This includes a commitment in helping to find positive ways to reduce the negative impact of NOVAWALL on the environment when its use has been fulfilled.

NOVAWALL can be reused – there are countless installations that are updated with new fabric that have been in place for 15 years. The NOVAWALL track in these installations is still useable; it is like a fresh coat of paint, just replacing the fabric to update the space (hopefully the new fabric is 100% recycled content).

If the NOVAWALL system in place can’t be reused, then the system can be taken apart and recycled. We consulted the Vinyl Institute on the recycling of the NOVAWALL rigid PVC extrusions. Please visit the Vinyl Recycling Directory website for information on where and how to recycle the NOVAWALL extrusions.

Click on Search Database, Check the box for your State, Check Rigid PVC under Type Accepted and the hit submit.

This will bring up a list of recyclers of Rigid PVC in your area. You will need to contact the recycler to see what their process is and what is required.

For information on how to recycle the core material (infill) in your NOVAWALL system, please contact the manufacturer of the core material.
